My friend ordered a lamb chop lunch set while I ordered a curry pork chop set meal which the waitress reminded that it took 15 mins to prepare for my curry dish. But when my friend's order arrived for almost half an hour and I kept chasing the waitress that I have waited for 30 mins instead of their committed time, they don't even provide me any side dishes which are supposed to come with my set menu. But when my friend's order arrived for almost half an hour and I kept chasing the waitress that I have waited for 30 mins instead of their committed time, they don't even provide me any side dishes which are supposed to come with my set menu. The set meal, apart from curry pork chop, includes miso soup, salmon salad, steamed egg...However not until I felt extremely hungry and tell them to at least serve me those small dishes, the waiter there didn't really take the initiative to do something to speed up my order or give me some food to eat first.
when my friend almost finished her lamb chop set meal, my curry pork chop set arrive and I begin to eat after 40 mins. The taste of the pork chop is not really that delicious but average, maybe their service has already affect my impression. the only thing I think it's very good is the mini red bean dessert which comes as complimentary at the end of the meal. Other dishes - just ordinary jap cuisine quality.
To be competitive and charge customers quite high price for a set lunch, at least they should provide very basic service. But today the experience which hinders me to go there again. Harbour City gets so many choices of restaurants. For Jap restaurant, maybe I will go to Miso from now on as their service is better.
