It's not easy to make friends with colleague, is our faith to work together but the friendship is not easy to keep.Long time haven’t meet my ex-colleague and this is a good chance for me to try something new with them. We have total 4 people and we sit on a table which marked with some famous celebrities name, I think this restaurant’s owner must be someone really well-known. Long time haven’t meet my ex-colleague and this is a good chance for me to try something new with them.
We have total 4 people and we sit on a table which marked with some famous celebrities name, I think this restaurant’s owner must be someone really well-known.
The dishes come arrive 10minutes after we order and the portion is surprisingly small. It is suppose to be American cuisine right? American restaurant like RXXX Tuesday and Dan RXXX portion is way bigger like at least double than this. As my colleagues comments: This is just count as child meal portion. Lol.
Let’s try the dishes.
The first they gave us is the signature fish taco and avocado rocket salad. The signature fish taco is just ok as the marinated purple cabbage is so sour and the taste is not matching with the deep fried fish. The appreciation for the taco is the size of the taco is just 2 bit size and they didn’t add too much sauce. The salad is pretty normal so nothing can comment on it.
Then the seafood spaghetti with tomato sauce(hkd138), the seafood is surprisingly big and their really have like around 5-6pawns(one big sie with head and shell), 2 mussels. I was thinking this is the dish that I will satisfy amount all the dishes tonight, but the mussels makes me disappointed. The mussel is like spoiled and super fishy taste like it was die for over 2 days.
Truffles fries is a secured dish, normal truffle mayo just the fries is a bit too “skinny”. I still prefer the one in Bricklaxe and townhouxe. The quality is way better and with similar price.
As we also ordered few dishes like bufflo wing and taco platter, we ask the waitress but she doesn't response it in a good manner. She said “You didn’t order this and that dish”. OH..Such a “cute” response. We have 4 people with 8 ears, how u can say that? When we order back those dishes, she is kinda messy and we repeat for what we want to order again and again. And again, buffalo wing suppose to be a standard dish in the American restaurant. OMG! They taste so weird. Super sour cream sauce with slightly spicy and salty wings.
In the other hand, we ordered some cocktail and beer and they are nothing special as well.
If the food is nice enough, for just the poor service a think they can earn a “Good” from me. Since this restaurant is located in the shopping mall, my expectation is lower than the other shop shops in the street. The service and food I really disappointed and I will never go back again. I am sure I can go somewhere more fancy with similar price.張貼
