Last night, my friends and I (total of 3 ladies) went to this nice & new restaurant in SoHo area. When we see the setting, it's a quiet place for chatting and enjoying dinner. When we see the menu, we ordered our all time favorite- Calamari. The Calamari tastes good and the serving size is adequate for us. We also ordered 2 other appetitizers: Beef cappaccio and Duck breast w. Pear salad. Both of the dishes are delicious. For the beef cappaccio, the seasoning enhanced the taste of the bee
When we see the menu, we ordered our all time favorite- Calamari. The Calamari tastes good and the serving size is adequate for us. We also ordered 2 other appetitizers: Beef cappaccio and Duck breast w. Pear salad. Both of the dishes are delicious. For the beef cappaccio, the seasoning enhanced the taste of the beef. I love it so much. Furthermore, the duck breast salad is very taste as well. The sweet taste of the pear totally match with the duck breast and the vegetable of the salad is fresh.
After having all the starters, we ordered a fettuccine with clam in white wine sauce and a Angus Steak with Prawn for sharing. The fettuccine is a little spicy. I personally don't like spicy food; yet, the good smell of the fettuccine when it first came out from the kitchen made me really want to try. It's delicious and tasty. The Steak and Prawn is amazingly delicious and it's my recommendation for you. This is a MUST TRY from this restaurant. Three of us doesn't like prawn that much and 2 of us may have allergy. However, we totally attracted by the smell and the presentation of this dish. The prawn is fresh and tasty with a special of smell of it made you really want to have it all. The steak, we ordered medium and the tenderness of the steak. No matter with the sauce or not, the tasteis so good!!!! One other comment is the garnish for the food is very neat and nice which attract us to eat more.
A suggestion that I would like to say is the service. The waitress is not very friendly and should know how to serve wine better than us.
I am glad to have a chance of having such a delicious dinner. Next time I will try the ribs and some other nice food there!!
