Sawadee Chef is a very spacious and modern Thai restaurant. Lunch is more affordable and comes with a drink and desserts with a discounted price. I’d say the appetizers that we ordered from the a la carte menu and their desserts outshine their noodles. I guess dinner should be better here..🥂Sawadee Noodle in Soup $118This was considered the best among the three noodle soup we had. Sliced ribs were quite tender and the beef balls were quite springy. 🥂Sawadee Noodle in Soup $118
This was considered the best among the three noodle soup we had. Sliced ribs were quite tender and the beef balls were quite springy. Bean sprouts and chilli were added to enhance the flavour.
🥂Seafood Rice Vermicelli in Tom Yum Kong Soup $108
It was on the sweeter side and not so spicy. I didn’t expect to get fancy seafood here but the prawns tasted so bland.
🥂Thai Boat Noodle $128
I’m not sure how authentic a boat noodle should be. But they added pork liver really made me sick. I don’t think I had this in another famous Thai restaurant in town.
🥂Pad Thai $168
This pad Thai is again on a sweeter side and was decorated like a nest with scrambled eggs. I like this more than the noodle soup.
🥂Deep Fried Prawn Cake $88
I think it never goes wrong with prawn cake as long as it’s hot and crispy with the right sauce.
🥂Vietnamese Sausage with Thai Spicy Sauce Skewer $58
You wouldn’t tell this is sausage if you just look at the picture. The mild kick of spiciness from it was so flavourful.
🥂Coconut Milk Pudding with Sago
🥂Mango Sticky Rice
Both desserts were added at a discounted price for lunch. They both not so sweet and quite fresh in taste.
Might come to try their dinner sometime as they actually have a lot of food on their a la carte menu but it will be more pricey.
