It was hard to have dinner with my parents as i need to work till quite late normally, thus once all of us were free i decided to bring them to a Chinese restaurant as they prefer chinese cuisine. Choi Fook is a chinese restaurant that have few branches in Hong Kong and is quite well known to the locals. I went to the branch in Tsim Sha Tsui located near to TST East. It was located at the top floor and the decor looked quite grand. Since there were some wedding and baby shower function going on,

Since there were some wedding and baby shower function going on, we were being assigned to a corner room which were quite VIP style.

As everyone know, chinese restaurant's menu is very comprehensive. We had a hard time deciding what to do and in the end, we go for our favourite dishes.

Honey glazed barbecued pork - The pork was tasty with some fat layers on it. Together with the honey sauce on it, it was sweet as well.

Scallop with seafood and assorted vegetables soup - We were quite surprised that the portion was quite huge. There were alot of ingredients in it, mainly prawn, squid, mushroom, crab meat, scallops, vegetables and vermicelli. the soup was clear and i do not taste much MSG in it. The soup has absorbed all the seafood essence in it and was tasty. All ingredients were fresh.

Fried rice with sakura shrimps and egg - Portion of this is big as well. It can fill up to 5 bowls. The chef has done a good job frying this dish. All rice was cooked till all are separated. Rice is not sticky and has great wok hei. Thereare not stingy on the ingredients as well, there are alot of prawns in it and was fresh.
