I visited Fete Up in Quarry Bay on a Thursday lunchtime with a friend. It’s a health-conscious outlet that provides customers with a breakdown of the food provided in each meal and the calorie count. There is limited indoor seating provided in bar-format i.e. facing the wall.You have to enter your order via a machine rather than at the counter. You have to enter your order via a machine rather than at the counter. There was a short queue as you might expect during lunchtime. I ordered the Flutter Chicks item from the menu and waited approx. 10 minutes. You can design your own meal in addition to the 8 menu items. Meals can be customised too.
It’s served in a cardboard box and wooden cutlery and napkins are provided. The food tasted good. I could identify the various flavours and textures in each food item. The pumpkin and sauce were a favourite! These are big boxes and I ended up leaving a bit as I would have easily overeaten.
This busy restaurant is clearly a lunchtime favourite for local office workers. It’s a modern venue and extremely clean. There are a few chairs, but the majority of customers stood as they waited to order or collect food. I didn’t notice any music being played and there were no TV screens. It’s located on the main road in-between exit A and C from Quarry Bay station.
