I have actually saw D.H. Crab from the foodie market about a few weeks ago at HMV. The restaurant obviously features lobster but then I found that they also serves other rolls like prawn, beef, or veggie rolls. The restaurant is located in Quarry Bay and it is not too hard to find (just a few mins walk from exit A) Coming here for a quick lunch, the eatery is decorated warmly with a lot of photos of the owners and sea life hanging on the wall. They have a list of combo sets that you can choose the size of the roll, as well as the side of the set! There are full and mini version of the rolls, and you may choose to have it with chips, bisque, or salad with drinks.
Shrimp mini roll
I firstly tried their shrimp roll in mini version because I wanted to compare it with their lobster roll. I was guessing shrimp should have a lighter taste. The shrimp tasted fresh with a good strong sea water taste, the texture was soft and juicy with only a little bit of herbs were sprinkled on top to give better complexity. The bun was golden brown with a strong butter taste. A light smear of mayo was also put at the bottom to counterbalance with the savoury taste from the shellfish.

Then the Maine lobster roll has all the work, yet the texture was a bit firmer when comparing to the shrimp one. The taste was not as sweet as shrimp but it just had a unique familiar lobster taste.

The bisque was surprisingly prepared with a bit of curry powder, sherry wine, herbs, and cream. It was not too heavy, not too thick, not too savoury. It tasted completely different from what I was expecting from a traditional heavy lobster bisque that's in orange colour, this rather light and thin soup had a good seafood taste and it still leaves you room to enjoy some other food after drinking it!
