This is the first time that I go to the racecourse in Sha Tin, yet I have been to the one in Happy Valley. If you understand the Hong Kong culture, then you will know horse racing is a comment gamble entertainment for people. When I walked into the restaurant, I felt like I am stepping into a five star hotel. The grand and elegant decorations will make you feel classy and privileged and the lights on the ceiling are in vintage style.
I was sitting at the stool, the bar table, and you can see the shining alcohols in the middle that look fancy. After all this is a restaurant at the racecourse, hence it is able to go the outdoor area to enjoy the racing.

They provided semi-buffet here, which the semi-buffet will serving till 2pm.

There is a mental boat at the appetisers section, which there are Mussels, Babylon Shells and Shrimps. Then there are salad section right next to the cold seafood, there are Potato Salad, Beetroot Salad, Penne Salad, etc. However, there aren't basic olive oil and vinegar, there is some sorts of Raspberry Vinaigrette as the salad dressing.

And next to the salad bar, there is a Japanese sashimi corner. They served some basic thing like Salmons, Octopus, Tuna and Shrimps. The staff will keep on slicing the sashimi and put on the plate for customers to pick. The best sashimi must be the salmon, it is fat and in excellent texture.

Not far from the sashimi corner, it is able to see the cold cut area. There are different types of cheese with Salami, Prosciutto and Dried Beef perhaps. The prosciutto always taste good with sliced melon and the melons here are extremely sweet!

How can you eat cheese without bread, therefore there is a baking goods section right next to the cold cut. You can see Croissants, Cinnamon Rolls, Berries Puffs and some more. Or you can just simply toasted the sliced bread to eat with the cheese and you can choose from the white bread and wheat bread.

These are cold dishes, you may find the freshly made omelette at the opposite side. There are couples filling to choose, such as Cheese, Tomatoes, Chopped Parsley, Ham, Mushrooms and Onions. Generally people don't really like parsley, yet I am the big fan of parsley! So hell yes, Parsley, Ham and Cheese Omelette. The omelette is in perfect texture, didn't over cook at all. You can taste the spice of pepper and parsley, however the omelette is a bit oily.

The waiter have asked me about the time of serving the main course, so then I been waiting for 1pm to arrive. I paid extra money to upgrade my main course to Pan-seared Salmon Fillet, Creamy Savoy Cabbage, Semi-dried Cherry Tomatoes and Salmon Caviar. The salmon fillet is in nice orange colour and the plating looks really stunning! It was surprised that the fish skin is crispy and not fishy at all, the salmon fillet is boneless and juicy. Thus, it doesn't need any sauce or dressing to eat with the salmon fillet. Moreover, the salmon caviar is not just for decoration, it is also to create the in-depth texture of the whole dish. And don't underestimate the creamy cabbage at the bottom, it is super creamy that you cannot resist from it. Overall there is no negative comment about the main course, I am completely satisfied with this delightful dish.

You are so wrong if you think there is nothing more, there are dessert buffet provided as well. The baking goods area will change to serving desserts at 2pm, there are Apple Pies, Berries Puffs, Hazelnut and Caramel Mousse Cakes, Chocolate Cakes, Crispy Choco Panna Cotta, Chocolates, Pistachio Panna Cotta, Chocolate Creme Brûlée. Nonetheless, the desserts are just so-so, they are all quite sweet. If you don't prefer about the typical desserts, you can just simply get the mini cup of Haāgen Dazs Icecream.
