If you are tired of paying $$$ for Chinese food in Hong Kong, my recommendation is to try Tai Hing on Jaffe Road.Our gang of three hit Tai Hing Restaurant tonight after having supper yummy sandwiches at Main Street Deli for lunch earlier.We ordered roast duck , BBQ pork and soy chicken over rice plates. They all came with duck soup and boiled lettuce with oyster sauce. Roast duck was much better than the one we had at Peak Cafe Lookout by far..only 1/5 of the price. The skin was crispy and meat

We ordered roast duck , BBQ pork and soy chicken over rice plates. They all came with duck soup and boiled lettuce with oyster sauce. Roast duck was much better than the one we had at Peak Cafe Lookout by far..only 1/5 of the price. The skin was crispy and meat was very tender. Dipping the duck in accompanying honey sauce and duck gravy and you are in heaven. BBQ pork was again above average with caramelised pork pieces cooked just right . Soy chicken was tender and served with ginger/green onion sauce which went super well with steam rice. All rice plates served with soup du jour which was stew soup with duck and some fancy mushroom.
Don't expect attentive service as it is given in any local restaurants in Hong Kong. In fact, it is fun to see how the servers get their job done using the least words so she/he can go to the next table.
Our bill came to under $200 for all..what a steal.
