Starter: Braised Pork Cheek and Bay Scallops with Crispy Root Vegetables
Soup: Cream of Lobster Bisque
Main course: (either one)
Grilled King Prawns with Risotto and Artichoke
or
Roast Duck Breast with Confit Potato and Grilled Eggplant
Dessert: Caramelized Pineapple and Coconut with Vanilla Icecream
Homemade birthday cake: Almond and Strawberry Macaroon Cake
Tea or Coffee
We had also had 2 bottles of white wines.
Starting with the starter, the lobster was very fresh and marinated in a very special sauce, very tasty.
Then for the lobster bisque, it was very smooth and creamy with strong lobster taste.
For the main course, the juice of the king prawn had blended very well with the risotto. I have also tried a bit of the duck breast and the texture of the meat was just good (though the eggplant sitting at the bottom of the dish was a bit too oily for myself).
Coming to the dessert, as consulted the manager of the restaurant, both the caramelised pineapple and the icecream was handmade by the chef, and that's why the icecream was very very smooth and soft. When the icecream mixed with the coconut, it tasted like coconut icecream.
And the birthday cake, again, was handmade by the chef and it was just another tasty dessert for the night!
Although it cost approximately 500 per person, considering the whole menu was tailor-made and all seafood was very fresh, I would think it's still great value for money and surely all my friends enjoyed the dinner very much.
