Ambience: Came here to celebrate hubby’s birthday. The outdoor open grass land was a key reason for our revisit but but with pity, the area was blocked off this weekend. It was disappointing and we do hope it opens up the space for restaurant guests. Food: Enjoyed the friend golden shrimp and black truffle fries noodle. Service: Attentive but not as polite as could be for a restaurant of this calibre. For example, we were not informed of minimum tea charge but as we were deciding on wine, we were ‘told’ that we need to order 1 tea per person as minimum charge. The message could have been delivered more tactfully. It was fine as we came as a family, but would be a bit awkward if we took guests. Also, we bought a cake on our way and was undecided whether to cut at restaurant or after event. It was removed from cake box without our instruction. Again, this was fine as we were a bit indifferent, but would have expect slightly more considerate service. Tea pots were refilled only after some chasing.
Overall: great view for a special location, though service can step up a bit and also pls let restaurant guests enjoy the grass land.
