From the moment you stepped in this little restaurant, you will find full of happy moment! We have a friend from London, and we don’t want to wait an hour for the La Vache, so we decided to give it a try and I think we have made a perfect decision!
We have four people and ordered two Augus Rib-eye Steak ($268) and two Duck Breast ($288) set dinner. The set came with Smoke Salmon Cesar Salad, and the Daily Bisque was a smooth & creamy tomato soup.
To my surprise, not only the steak portion is huge, the steak was made perfect. Both steak and duck breast were in media rare and every bite was succulent, full of flavor. (We were too excited and forget to take photos!)
They have an excellent list of wines, a wide variety of boutique wines that most restaurants do not carry. Wine pairing is important, and the boss certainly own a great deal of knowledge in this aspect. Unlike other restaurant just giving you a wine list to choose from, the boss would try to understand our preference first, and then actually placed several bottles in a line and presented to us one by one. We chose the very left one - G.D. Vajra ($680), and the balance wood and juicy finish was just perfect match with our steak and duck breast.
