I'd been here once before and I was not very impressed. The decor is not really my thing-- all the menu items are named after sex acts and body parts, and the signs on the walls are there to remind women that they're sex objects and nothing more. It's what a 4th grader raised in our rape culture would come up with, and it's not funny or cool. I wonder if it's not also what HKers think America is like. That said, I don't come to restaurants to intellectually engage with the signage. Even though I
That said, I don't come to restaurants to intellectually engage with the signage. Even though I didn't like the food from the previous time we came, my wife liked her burger, so I decided I'd give it a second chance.
There were two free tables when we arrived, but they hadn't been bussed, and it didn't look like anyone was going to bus them even though we were standing awkwardly by them. Someone finally came over when we started to remove the trash ourselves. And it wasn't busy and there were 4 people working there! This was one of the combos. I don't remember which body part or sex act it was named after. I'll call it the "Houdini Zombie." Anyway, it was OK. The meat was very gristly, more so than at any other HK burger joint I've been to. There was mayo on it, even though that wasn't on the list of ingredients. The fries were average. The bun was nicely buttered and toasted, and I liked that. Below average, but not by a lot: C-/ D+.
Do yourself a favor and go to GBU instead. You can choose your own toppings there, they've got much better quality meat, and you can sit at a clean table.
