Since my last visit in August, I am quite surprised that not many people have reviewed this place.Anyway, I wanted to eat the liver noodles again but they had some new dishes which looked good so it looks like I have to go again another time.On this visit, the guy looked different but probably he is the owner's brother. There were some new hearty dishes.Started with two soupseppered Pigs stomach soup and salted lemon duck soup.Peppered Pigs stomach soup:salted lemon duck souprdered this because i
There were some new hearty dishes.
Started with two soups:
Peppered Pigs stomach soup and salted lemon duck soup.
Peppered Pigs stomach soup: salted lemon duck soup:
Ordered this because it was weird but it turned out quite nice because the salted lemon taste was strong. For the mains, I had this amazing bittermelon, soybeans, black beans and pork belly dish which was in lots of rich gravy and the texture of the bittermelon was soft and mushy without being too bitter.
The soy beans were delicious too and healthy loaded with protein. It was simply fabulous with the rice I picked because it was loaded with super tiny clams and chinese pickles. The clams were excellent because there was absolutely no sand in them. For the other dish, I had salted vegetables and intestines.
The salted vegetables had a nice crunch balanced by the finely chopped fragrant celery on top. Dessert was this thick soup which was really sweet. Next time I will come back for 古天樂 Louis Koo's favourite noodles.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend these noodles at the moment because the owner is quite reluctant in telling me how it tastes or what is in it but apparently Louis Koo ate three bowls!
