Food Lab has been around for a while, they used to be on Caine Road and at Fanling but Fanling was too far so I never made it.Finally tried this place over Easter when I made a trip to see the golden egg at Science Park.Went here for dinner after taking a stroll on the promenade.As a tea lover, I had the Earl Grey and the green tea.They serve organic teas by Natures cuppa.My friend had the cola.Started with the beef consomme with ravioli and the vegetable soup with chickpeas.The consomme was lig

Started with the beef consomme with ravioli and the vegetable soup with chickpeas.
The consomme was light with a strong unami taste while the vegetable soup was tangy and rich.

The Spicy Quesadilla was a surprise because it turned out to be curry and cheese filling which is quite different to the usual fillings like chili beef.

For the mains, had the pan fried Dover Sole which is one of my favourite fishes but they are rarely served in Hong Kong.
I love this fish which is found everywhere in the UK.
Although it came with a delicious lime mayonnaise, I just had it with some salt which was fantastic.

Finished the meal with some great desserts!!!
The pancake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream was sensational because it wasn't too sweet and the fresh cream was silky and delicious.

The apple poached in white wine was really comforting and healthy presented in a really nice way so I was really glad I ordered it as you rarely find whole poached apples!!
