Having worked near Wanchai district last time, I do knew of any current and new shops nearby. As i do not feel like having any proper meal today and i suddenly noticed a new bakery shop, i decided to walk in and see if there is any new bread interesting. After a chat with the staff, Mr Bake was just opened less than 6 months ago. There was a board displayed outside the shop front, showing their latest offering. There was a board displayed outside the shop front, showing their latest offering. It was decorated in wooden theme with a transparent glass door display.
All the bread were displayed nicely and orderly in their respective tray and behind a glass mirror.
Cafe mocha - As that day was quite cold, the drink turned cold quite fast. I could not taste much mocha and was slightly bitter. It was smooth tough.
Parmesan bun - Inside the parmesan bun was a stick of hot dog. The bun tasted strongly of garlic and butter and it goes nicely with the hot dog.
Matcha bun - It was in a U-shape form and there was some sugar coating on top of the bread. After taking a bite, there was cream cheese filling inside the bread. The filling only occupy less than half of the bun, thus was not that much. It has a strong matcha taste.
Pistachio bread - As i have seen from their offering, most of them were of healthy version. This bread was coated with pistachio and black sesame on the top of the bread. The texture was moist and those nuts were crunchy.
