An honest place and it fulfilled what it promised. Nothing overhyped and true to the many reviews. Good for a special occasion. The noodles were generous and delicious. Not greasy, not oily and not over seasoned. The beef was generous and tender. It’s a very good item for takeaway too.The sweet and sour wonton was very clever and tasty. Great for sharing. The prawn dumplings are far better than most dim sum restaurants in town, but should be because of the price tag.
The vegetarian dumplings are a great option for vegetarians. Not cheap, but the ingredients are fresh.
The taro cakes are baked and very well executed with goose. Small but delicious. Chinese tapas style.
The spring rolls are mini bites and a signature dish. The best spring rolls we had in Hong Kong. It’s not about quantity but quality. It has all the classic ingredients ie. carrot and prawn...
The turnip cakes are pan fried and blew us away. An item we never order because it’s normally very heavy and sometimes gross and oily, but we ordered this by mistake and it’s the only turnip cake we would order in HK. Very creamy inside and with much turnip and surely little flour to increase volume. Very impressive and good for sharing.
