Went here for dinner. Started with banana and yoghurt smoothie which was a great wake up for the evening. Greek food is not complete without dips and it was comforting they had Taramosalata which you can commonly get in the UK.
We got the dip sampler so we could try the other dips.
Taramosalata (100% cod eggs with potato purée and lemon)
Eggplants Dip (Chargrilled eggplant spread)
Fava Beans Dip from Santorini (Yellow fava beans purée served with spring onion, capers and cherry tomatoes)
Tzatziki (Greek yogurt with cucumber and garlic)
My favourites were Taramosalata and Tzatziki which were both creamy but Taramosalata has a salty twist.
The eggplant dip is on the sweet side while the fava beans dip is nicely spiked with cumin. Next was the Sagnanaki Cheese which was runny and stringy in the middle with a mild cheese taste and a hint of salt in it. Ordered the Spanakopita which is a classic Greek puff with spinach and feta cheese.
There are other fillings as well but I like spinach. The Octopus salad was surprisingly tangy and tasty and the octopus had a balanced char grilled flavour to it. Finished with my favourite rice pudding which was thick and creamy.
