This is totally by luck... and as we can find a perfect parking space just outside the shop, so we give it a try... Most consider me as an over-talkative person, but tonight I am winning the prize, as I found out an interesting fact... ... and sometime, the extra questions may lead us to some new discovery... and tonight, we learned that this shop is a hidden treasure ... ... as the ingredient quality can be assured... not only because they are the QC expert, but the owner is actually one of the

... and I can only spot it at the third dish of the meal..  Anyway, lets' come back and talk about food... starter of the Omakase is a the little shrimp (tiny one at the bottom) with a piece of prawn meat Sashimi... very much delicious, tender and with the great smell of prawn...

 while the fish liver in the winter is great too... most of the shop you found is quite rich in the liver taste, but this one, I am sure the preparation is different because the liver taste is not strong, but mixing so well with the sour topping... well done..

Sashimi quality is very good, and the shellfish I have is very big in portion, as you can see... and very fresh... quite amazing...

Scallop Sushi is also nice just because of its freshness... and from this point onward, I am so curious to ask more ... why the ingredients that the chef picked are so nice...

and this is exactly the point that I asked the chef and the manager, as I thought it is a common Kimetai, I was wrong...  it is actually the precious Kinki, the meat is chewy and great in taste... and with a bit of fire touch, the fatty meat becomes more juicy... and this is also why I started asking more questions, as not that many restaurant will do it in sashimi style, unless the fish is super fresh...

Like this one as well, not a high-price fish, but it can only be made in sashimi style when the quality can be assured.  This is the reason for my next visit..

Toro, though the chef has made some effort and a light touch to cater for local market, the light burned taste mixed with the fatty tuna is very mix, but I still prefer just the original one...  ha ha..

This is another must try, the big prawn with white truffle sauce... we don't usually see a big size of ebi and maybe because of it freshness, again, the meat taste won't be covered too much by the truffle ... and it makes me chewing it much more slowly to really enjoy the dish... Nice Try !!

Kimetai is very nice too... with the Japanese spring onion, a premium dish ... the meat is quite crunchy as well, but when you slowly feel the onion and the fruit, you will appreciate this special dish more...

As the Omakase set is filled with ample choices of sushi, the mail / starchy is not included... so we go right straight to the soup, which is a white fish soup... nice touch and light in taste.

While the dessert combo is not bad in quality too, sesame ice-cream with the green tea pudding... not too sweet... but very good finishing for the meal.  For HKD880.. a very good value indeed...
