This time around I ordered a “翠王” ramen, which consists of cheese, cabbage, and a pesto flavored pork bone broth. Firstly the queue was not long and the service was friendly, the waiting time for the food to come was reasonable as well.Second of all, the taste of this bowl of ‘westernized’ ramen actually turned out quite interesting (in a good way), the broth was rich in flavor, the ingredients were fresh, and most importantly the texture of the ramen was crisp and chewy.The main ingredient out
Second of all, the taste of this bowl of ‘westernized’ ramen actually turned out quite interesting (in a good way), the broth was rich in flavor, the ingredients were fresh, and most importantly the texture of the ramen was crisp and chewy. The main ingredient out of this bowl would be this half boiled egg, it was soft and had that sweet soya sauce taste on its egg whites already, and when I had my first bite on it the egg yolk could not stop bursting out of it so be careful when you eat it or else all the egg yolk will run down to your bowl of ramen and get mixed up into the broth (what a waste.. So be sure to slurp all that yolk down before it tries to escape!) Overall a nice dinner, original and loaded with lots of flavorful Japanese tastes. Still one of the top ramen places in HK. Well done~ 4/5.
