Searching for places for lunch again, and we came here, worldwide house. Not a particularly nice location but it is really near to my work place, so its already ahead of the others (in terms of walking distance) We felt we were in the Philippines, you know exactly what I'm saying don't you? Lunch hour has such a long queue that makes you want to swear, but the waitress nicely took my order while I was in the queue.I deliberately avoided the "baked rice" there, because I tried it some time ago fr

Lunch hour has such a long queue that makes you want to swear, but the waitress nicely took my order while I was in the queue. I deliberately avoided the "baked rice" there, because I tried it some time ago from the same shop but it tasted pretty bad. We chose a linguine bolognese, a prawn linguine in "Napoleon" sauce, oh wait a minute, it should be spelt "Neapolitan", my bad my bad.. bad english.. but you shouldn't blame me for not know cos i'm just a little 文員. It's like blaming a kid that doesn't know how to write a poem, build a pyramid, or bake a cake. That would be mean.
Apart from the mains we had a puff pastry cream soup and the desserts that came with the set.
Linguine bolognese tasted "okay" said my friend, I thought my pasta was blend, despite the funny napoleon or whatever sauce they put in there, the prawns were tasteless, like those boiled prawns from a salad (well I mean those without salad dressing), it was bad. I ordered another pasta before, something like linguine with pork in black pepper sauce? I thought it was very good and this one I was having this time was a different story.
The soup came late, due to the puff thingy, but they were good, the cream wasn't too thick and the puff pastry was so good! Definitely cheered me up!
The desserts that came after our soup were fair, I only had the ice cream, as the cake they offered looked a bit fattening. My mate threw her cake onto my plate!! for the third time!!!!! This is driving me mad now and I took a photo as evidence! The set menu for 2 is brilliant, $133 for two (excluding the puff on the soup), what more can I say? I can even pay off my mortgage earlier by this big saver, slightly jealous now aren't you?
