From magazine article, we heard about this place and decided to have a go. We tried to book. They said the y don’t accept reservation. We got there at 1930, waited about an hour to get a table. We tried to book. They said the y don’t accept reservation. We got there at 1930, waited about an hour to get a table. As they close at 10pm, while we were waiting, there were a few groups of two, got rejected for waiting.

When we got the table, we were first all you can eat fried immediately. Each of us only got a handful of fries. The waitress refilled a few time during the dinner. The fries is truffle fries, it tasted lovely. I really love it. As the turnover is so fast, the fries were warm and fresh and crispy.

We ordered a herb flat iron and guest chef one. Surprisingly, the herbs one which is the cheaper one actually tasted much better. The guest chef one was very chewy, the sauce was tasteless. The herbs one wasn’t so chewy. But i couldnt taste the herbs as it was described. It came no sauce. It tasted ok with the salt on the plate. But i had a feeling that the steak wasn’t seasoned enough.

One thing i have to point out is, they cooked the steak to perfection according to order. We ordered two medium rare. They were both cooked medium rare.

We also paid $38 extra to get the salad and soup. The salad tasted ok. The creamy and mushroom soup, was again a bit blend. Yes it was very creamy and had lots of mushroom, but it needs a bit more seasoning and the mushroom favour wasn’t strong enough to me.

One problem we observed is that the food was a bit slow. They only have a small menu, basically only serving one type of food. The food should be able to come out faster. We ordered two steaks and both of them were medium rare. It took a while to come and they didn’t arrived at the same time. I felt bad to start eating, but if i waited, my steak would become cold. The salad and soup could have come quicker too as they were all premade, but it still took them a while to come.
