Meltly Place is a fancy cake and pastry shop in Mid Levels. The shop has a simplistic yet classy interior design. I finally made up my mind to try this piece of “Joy”, which is a pistachio cake. The pistachio nuts on top were definitely splendid. The layered cake itself was very delicious and enjoyable too with a rich pistachio flavour and smooth texture. Yet, the whole piece wasn’t overly stuffing. I also adore the crunchy cake base which could be easily eaten with the cake. Oh you know, there are a lot of times when you have to eat the cake base separately simply because it’s too hard to cut and detached from the cake itself.
Pastries displayed were very appealing, might want to try them if I drop by again.
My only complain is that there is no dine-in place inside Meltly Place, which is very inconvenient for me as I didn’t want to have the cake after an hour of journey home…
