Hong Kong has several places for Taiwanese fried chicken. There is the very popular Hot Star along with J&G Fried Chicken. But now we have 巷口炸雞專門店香港 (English name: Alley Fried Chicken). The menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge.
They also offered group sets that were in Chinese only.
They had three different flavours of fried chicken so we decided on the fried chicken with basil ($29 for a small size). As it was made to order, we waited for a while. The wait was worth it. Piping hot. Although we chose a small size, we got about 6-8 pieces. The seasoning was on point. The skin was not too crispy but the meat was moist and juicy. The chunks of chicken were big as well. The addition of the basil made if taste even more fresh.
Not too expensive and will definitely be back.
