Juet met a good friend from Shanghai a couple days ago and felt like having some traditional Shanghainese cuisine. Jiangsu & Zhejiang in Causeway Bay has been opened for over 5 years which probably guarantees good quality. Xiaolongbao - medium-sized soup dumplings that were served steaming hot. The wrap had a nice chewiness. Filled with delicate meat juice without too much oil. Superb comfort food for winter!Hot and sour soup - compared to the common starchy version this was more like a broth. N

Hot and sour soup - compared to the common starchy version this was more like a broth. No thickeners added. Covered by a layer of chili oil which kept the soup hot. Duck red, bamboo shoot, black fungus and pork were cut into strips with a crunchy shrimp in there.

Drunken chicken - cooked medium well inside. The chicken was steeped in aromatic shaoxing wine with sweet goji berry. Shiny and bouncy skin.

Overall satisfactory in terms of food quality, service and efficiency. Would love to try more of their dimsums next time.
