Korean Raw Crabs in HK! I love me some Korean raw crabs (or any of these: Gejang, gejeot, 게장, 게젓)! If you know me, then you know I love raw food. Yes…It can be dangerous to eat. So I don’t think you should eat them all the time (note to myself as well)! However, on the off chance that you have those major soy marinated raw crabs cravings coming in: I think I’ve found your place…..
Korea Meat Village 韓流村 (Yes, the name sounds funny..but the food is great) is in the basement of Katherine House in TST and as you step in…you feel like you’ve returned to KOREA!!!! The place gives off an authentic vibe which is fun, loud with amazing scents of korean bbq sizzling right before your eyes.
I’ve been a few times and each time I have not been disappointed. I mainly only focused on taking pictures of the marinated raw crab! But they do have lots of Korean bbq, tofu soups, etc. I tried out the chicken, beef, ox tongue, kalbi, tofu soups to name a few but they’re not pictured! Its goooooooooood though.

Look at that beautiful roe. The juicy orange roe and sweet, plump meat is so good. I’m drooling as I type. The marination is more on the sweet side (not a problem with me)! It also comes with a plate of seaweed rice balls where you can mix in!! DELISH!
