I have been eating in this restaurant for more than 4 years. Just around a mth ago when I rang up to make reservation, the owner informed me that the restaurant has to be closed soon. This was deal to the building will be demolished. The owner at the moment wanted to try to locate another area to reopen, yet tonight, I went to dine in there, then she told me that in fact they will not but just to close down the restaurant. She then informed me that she has some other plans of which she told
Food being served remained in high standard, the famous mushroom soup is very so tasty, very creamy with a strong mushroom taste. The small baquette freshly baked and we loved it all. We tried the mixed seafood as the main dish - this is a new dish they added into the menu of which the seafood is very fresh - mussels, scallops, fish & scrimp with a soup base, indeed very yummy. The desset which they hardly changed and we all shared the cream burlee, the soft choclate puddings with ice cream, the sorbet are freshly made.
No matter what, I admired their willingness to strive for the best in both the good times and hard times. Running a restuarant is not as easy as one tought. I wish them the best in the years to come. This restaurant will close in March 2011, if anyone has the time just go and have a try. Value of money and the owner is friendly (HK$380/per +10%). Rental is sky high and push many out of business. Very Sad.
