We’ve passed by Feather & Bone countless times and have wanted to pay the restaurant a visit for half a year now. I am glad we finally made it on this beautiful Sunday morning. Feather & Bone is a deli and butcher with fresh veggies and fruits, a cheese counter, and generally a good selection of your everyday groceries. Deep in the rear is a restaurant café, and it comes with an outdoor seating area. You could, if you want to, order your cut of meat from the butcher and have it prepared for you

The atmosphere does remind us of the good old days in Cambridge.
Service on this occasion has been just fine. I wasn’t hungry enough for lunch and had mussels with salad (opted out of fries). We also ordered a cut of rib-eye—prices seemed fair at $45/100g, plus $60 preparation. It wasn’t fancy wagyu but it was reasonably good. My mussels were fab.

Coffee was just alright, falling somewhat below expectation given how good it looked. We’ll definitely return to check out other stuff on the menu.

Overall a great spot for casual get-togethers, especially on weekends and on sunny days. While the menu looks somewhat more geared towards non-local tastes, the bill doesn’t come down to much more than similar restaurant café chains spotted all over the city.
