I was surprised they had lobster on the menu so went there to try it.It was a lobster themed set with Lobster Thermidor and a lobster creme brulee with bread.Lobster Thermidor is a French dish that is a creamy mixture of cooked lobster meat, egg yolks and brandy stuffed back in its shell.I tried the lobster brulee first which had a thickish texture and a light lobster taste.There is a crispy layer of caramel on top just like a creme brulee which I didn’t eat because I don’t like eating sweet and
I tried the lobster brulee first which had a thickish texture and a light lobster taste. There is a crispy layer of caramel on top just like a creme brulee which I didn’t eat because I don’t like eating sweet and savory together.
Then I had the lobster which was really good because it was sweet, soft and springy unlike some places where it is dry and chewy. The lobster was in this delicious gravy with lots of chopped button mushrooms that wasn’t too salty, but in contrast the lobster brulee could have been stronger.
