Whenever I am craving for a decent steak, Morton's is always go-to place. Highly recommend its Steak and Lobster set menu, good value for money! We have reserved for birthday celebration. Upon arrival at Morton's, we requested again for window seating. Fortunately, our request could be catered. Morton impressed us with the personalized menus with birthday massage.

Morton's is offering a special steak and lobster menu, only costs $728 with an appetizer, a main with a choice of their signature side and a dessert. Have prior inform the friendly staff that we were celebrating birthday, they have prepared a free souffle for each birthday girl, so sweet <3

📌 Lobster Bisque
The lobster bisque is not too large in portion. There is a piece of lobster claw in the soup. It tasted like alcohol was added to spice the bisque up. A bit too strong in flavour for my liking. The bisque goes better with the giant complimentary onion bread.

📌  Center-cut Filet Mignon 6oz with Lobster Tail
Next up, the most anticipated part of the meal. The center-cut filet Mignon with lobster tail. Ordered Medium for the Filet Mignon. It was cooked perfectly and rested enough before serving. Medium rare with great crust exterior with tender and succulent pink meat inside. The meats even had a flavour better than the wagyu I had in  Kyoto.  The lobster tail disappointed me a bit as it was cold and the texture wasn't bouncy as I expected. Rather try crab cake when i revisit Morton's.

📌 Pamasen and truffle fries and Creamy Spinach 
Speaking of my favourite dish of the meal, definitely would be their highly-recommended Parmesan and truffle fries. Best fries in town, to be frank.  The fries were thin and crispy (still crispy when I brought back home for dad) with a drooling truffle flavour. It didn't come with a truffle dressing. Insteads, white truffle were gridded into powder form to add on top of the fries. The creamy spinach is too soft for my liking but it really tasted good.

➖➖ The desserts from Morton's are as impressive as their filet mignon. Key Lime Pie is defo my pick of all times.

📌 hot chocolate Lava Cake
Filled with deep, rich dark chocolate, the hot choco lava cake has a gooey texture in the centre. The huge scoop of creamy vanilla icecream is the perfect match of the hot chocolate lava cake.

📌 Key lime pie
This has been gone from the menu for a period of time. Glad to see it made a return. The size is rather large to be consumed by one person. The pie is perfectly tart with a gentle sweetness. The crust is light but a bit not crumbly as expected and the whipped cream is acidic enough to ease the cheese-cake like lemon custard.

📌 Lemon Soufflé
It is free offering from Morton's when you stated your reservation is for birthday or anniversary celebration. The soufflé is eggy and fluffy. The lemon custard sauce would add some freshness to the soufflé. Definitely not compromising the quality even it's a freebie.

The meal ended in satisfaction with the perfect dessert. Maybe it is on the 4/F, the sea-view would not be as stunning as at higher floor. Overall, the meal is really value for money. Highly recommend for steak lovers!
