We farewelled a friend by having lunch here. I ordered from the weekend brunch menu, the website has a "sample" brunch menu which almost mirrored what was available to us on the day.The seafood starter was lovely. The seafood starter was lovely. The serving is one of each seafood item per person - so 1 oyster, 1 prawn, 1 mussel etc.
I enjoyed the second starter of cured mackerel, but found that eating it at the same time as the asparagus and duck egg a conflict of tastes.
The main course of salmon and sides (sugar snap peas, carrots and potatoes) were tasty , and was accompanied with a Yorkshire pudding.
Sadly I could not sample dessert as I had to leave. It has a knockout ambience, great for special occasions. I look forward to coming back here again!
