Started when we tried calling to book, nobody answered, we live locally so thought we should just walk past and try to book. Bumped into some friends out the front who had just eaten and were finishing off with a beer. They said "Yeah it's not bad, beers are good. Had the burger, ordered it well done but came back medium" Anyway we thought ok we will give it a try. Unfortunately it was fully booked for the night but the manager invited us to come back around 9PM saying that a table would surely be free by then.
Came back that night and arrived at the time suggested by the manager, the security guard at the front door treated the place like a club, only letting in people who had tables and even then when our friends arrived stating "We have a table" he refused to let them in until went out and got them.
Finally got inside and asked for a table, the only one left was a booth near the bar. That area was very busy and could barely hear each other talking across the table so we asked if any room down the back in the restaurant after seeing people leaving but were told on three occasions no tables left. Finally after going down to the bathroom and seeing 4 tables empty, asking a 4th time they allowed us to move.
I will start by saying the beers are really good (so if going for drinks you'll be fine). The wine came and by far was less than a standard drink so asked them to add a bit more the wait staff was a bit surprised but said "actually yeah you're right" and happily went back to top it up.
Now for the food, we ordered some appetisers the Crispy Chicken and Bread board both were good but after the appetisers it went down hill from there. I ordered the Pork Belly Sandwich which was 135HKD I was actually happy with mine, but then came out the beef sliders which my girlfriend ordered, they were tiny in comparison and for 120HKD was rather a rip off compared to my pork sandwich with a side of fries (they ran our of buns so came back with cut ciabatta squares).

Overall experience wasn't great. I suggest definitely going for the beers as thats what they specialise in but leave it at that and have dinner somewhere else. Kennedy Town has plenty of choices!
