Nam Shan Estate is an old public housing estate with hidden local eateries such as the famous $10 egg puff and mango coconut sago sweet soup. Chicken feet, chicken gizzard, cuttlefish and pig fallopian tubes. Traditional street food. I especially liked the rich and slightly chewy cuttlefish which came in big pieces.
Imitation Shark Fin Soup
Abundant ingredients such as shredded chicken, mushrooms and black fungus. Added white pepper, vinegar and sesame oil that enhanced the flavors.
Steak w/ Rice in Mushroom Sauce
A perfectly cooked dish! Rib eye was pan-fried to medium with a nice sear on the outside. Moist and flavorful. Chewy rice that well absorbed the savory sauce. Guests could also customize the sides and the sauce.
