On this evening, I was too lazy to cook something at home so boyfriend and I decided to eat near my home. Menu is all in Chinese. There is no English. It's not very clean but it's been here as long as I've been living in Happy Valley. It also has quite a lot of customers and one of the rare places in Happy Valley that are open late.
Grilled Pork Neck and Mushroom Rice Noodles ($46). I generally like to order this a lot as they do a pretty decent grilled pork neck. You can order a variety of items with your noodles. I like to add the mushrooms which have been soaked in the same sauce as their braised beef so there is a bit of spice to it. Noodles are ok. Not overly soft. Soy Sauce Chicken with Rice ($56). Boyfriend ordered this. It came with a bowl of rice. I didn't really like it. The chicken was tough and just covered with soysauce and nothing more. So, it was just salty chicken. Portion size was very small. Food was ok. Prices were pretty expensive for what you get but then rent is high this area. Not a place to recommend to someone who doesn't live here as it's not worth making a trip in. But if you live here, it's worth a bite.
