I love Hong Kong style ice lemon tea. I don't know why. Is it the tea used? The ratio of sugar syrup? The slices of lemon where you have to poke away at it? Whatever the case, it's simply great and thirst quenching. So when I came across a shop called 乜檸 (English name: What's Up Lemotea), I had to stop and give it a try.A small take away shop, it serves lemon tea but using different types of tea. They even have the various teas on display but strangely enough you can't smell them. You can look but not smell. They also had a promo where you purchase two teas and get this reusuable cup.

We ordered two drinks with tea leaves we haven't tried before. I had the Duck Excrement Lemon Tea ($30, on the left) and boyfriend had the Shi Li Xiang Lemon Tea ($30, on the right). It wasn't too big but itwas the right size. The only problem is the tea was a bit bland. The lemon itself didn't come throught. I didn't get that same joy I get with a regular lemon tea.

Definitely won't be back. The owner was really nice and enthusiastic about his tea leaves. But sadly the drink itself  wasn't very lemony.
