Was in the area to take care of some business and stumble upon this restaurant. This pace is nice and quiet and in dab center of pacific place mall. I was served some kind of seaweed starter with sweet corn. It is really nice and refreshing. A sashimi platter came after. The fishes are nice and fresh but not really anything special. Then I was served 2 grilled dishes. A grilled cod and grilled A4 wagyu cube. The cod is really nicely grilled I think it might be dried fish. The steak cubes are served with yuzu pepper. The yuzu pepper really gives the steak a really nice flavor. The steak has also a pickled chestnut on the side. That really cleansed my pallet after the flavorful wagyu. Then I had some assorted tempura. The things that stood out was the ginkgo nuts and the pepper. The batter is nice and crisp. Then I had the soup and sushi. The sushi is normal and the soup is a fish bone soup and really a star in this full course meal. One thing I would say I had no idea what I was eatting as the staff there did not explain what so ever I was having. I had no idea what kind of fish I ate or anything.
