Lai Chi Kok area have developed rapidly over the past few years with the opening of new malls such as D2 place, attracting hipster and local designers. A very cozy feeling through using warm lighting, light wood interior and little potted plants. Little pieces of paper and coloured pencils are placed on each table where customers can feel free to draw anything that's in their mind which shall then be stuck in the walls within the restaurant.
The price of the lunch sets and rice bowls are not particularly cheap given the area they are situated. I ordered fatty tuna and an assorted sashimi rice bowl. The main course comes with a miso soup, salad, pickled vegetables and cream puff. The tuna was fresh and the portions are generous. Couldn't comment on the culinary skills since there isn't much for rice bowls. Definitely an option while you are in the area.
