This was my third time dining in this restaurant. The first two times were in LCX. Today was the first time for me to try this restaurant in Sha Tin. The environment in Sha Tin was cozier than the one in LCX. More sofa seats available and there was more distance between tables. I have ordered a black truffle cream sauce rice with scallops dinner set ($148). The vegetable soup was quite sour that I have only finished half of it. Then there came the distinguished bread in this restaurant. The smell of bread was very special that you would want to eat it at once. Yet, the butter was too cold that it could not be easily melt onto the bread. It would be better if the bread was warmer and the restaurant should melt the butter for a bit of time before serving. For the main course, the taste of black truffle was strong and it matched with the taste of heavy cream. However, the scallops were quite dry. And the portion of the rice was quite large. It was even more than a full bowl of rice in Chinese restaurant. Such a large portion of rice in cream sauce really made me very full. Especially after I have already ate two slices of bread before the serving of main course.
Overall speaking, the food was mediocre that I could only remember the unique taste of the slices of bread. Maybe I would only purchase a packet of sliced bread but not dine in the restaurant next time.
