Went to restaurant in April 2011 for diner. Three of us ordered main dishes without drinks and only one starter. The starter was a Yak cheese fried wantons, 6 pieces for $45.. I love Yak cheese and was very dissapointed. The amount of cheese they used was so miniscule that you could not taste it. As a main, I ordered angel hair pasta and scallops. Went to restaurant in April 2011 for diner. Three of us ordered main dishes without drinks and only one starter. The starter was a Yak cheese fried wantons, 6 pieces for $45.. I love Yak cheese and was very dissapointed. The amount of cheese they used was so miniscule that you could not taste it. As a main, I ordered angel hair pasta and scallops. Not the best I ever had but not bad at all. But at $168, I was expecting more than a timy pile of food on my plate (I had to eat something when I got home). My guests ordered the New Zealand beef and lamb. I tasted each and again, they did a wonderful job of presenting very basic tasting dishes. The bill came to nearly $600 and I decided to warn others about being dissapointed.
