Perfect "yum char" lunch to kick start he New Year

We decided to come here for lunch to start off the new Year. Turned out to be a really great choice ! We made a reservation few days ahead and was offered a table just next to the big fish tank - very nice viewing indeed, and a perfect aesthetic experience for the eyes to compliment the good food ! The meal started off nicely with the complimentary appetizers - we liked the braised beef the most, with really tender and juicy meat cooked in a sweet sauce, and the 脆玉瓜 was also fine. The 流沙燕窩包 arrived steaming hot with nice sweet filling inside, and although I don't think there is actually much bird's nest in it, still it is quite nice and delicious. The 素菜餃 was quite special with not just vegetables but also pieces of mushrooms inside, which was quite interesting and worth a try. The signature dish 糯米雞翼 was very good, with cripsy chicken skin and tasty gelationous rice filling, truly a must -order item ! 蒸蘿蔔糕, as recommended by other experienced diners, was also of very high standard - another must-order item !The steamed 魚湯米線 was also great, with chunks of fish meat soaked in a tasty fish broth, and there was enough for the 6 of us to share. Other stuff like 义燒包, 馬拉糕, and 糯米雞 were ok but not particularly impressive. We ended the meal with 杏仁茶 and 脆麻沙 which were also nice. Granted that the bill was not cheap, but given the great food and the nice environment, plus the fact that we spent more that 2 hours with our meal, I think it is worth the price. Will definitely be back to try more stuff later.
