As we were at Times Square today, we decided to go to Banchan and Cook for lunch. They offered omurice, fried chicken, light meal, tteokbokki, pasta, croffle, side dish, dessert and drinks etc. Shortly after we ordered, they served us radish and cucumber cubes, which was re-fillable. They were crunchy and appetizing. Hot melting choco was smooth and sweet, with strong chocolate taste, perfect for us. Pork chuck roll carbonara - Pasta was cooked till chewy and creamy in texture, with the pork chuck making it flavourful and chewy.
Grilled pork belly in soy sauce with ssamjang - The serving was huge as well, with plenty of sliced pork belly given. Pork belly was grilled till chewy and juicy, with alot of lean fats in it. Lettuce was provided to wrap with it, with green chilli and garlic provided as well.
Sweet & spicy fried chicken - The chef was generous with the serving of fried chicken, which covered the whole plate. The skin was fried till crispy and was marinated with sweet and spicy sauce, thus the skin was sweet and sticky in texture. The meat was chewy and juicy as well. Rice cake and fries was chewy and crispy, with sauce provided to dip onto it.
Baked chocolate with marshmallow - Marshmallow was baked with chocolate on top of it, thus it was very soft and smooth, very sweet too. Biscuit was provided to eat with it, with cookie bits at the bottom of marshmallow too.
