AVOID!! After hearing good reviews and wishing to support a local restaurant, my wife and l tried it and we will never visit again! We ordered bean threads, fried mutton and their signature fried rice dish - nothing fancy. The meal was way over-priced and very, very average. The rice dish came with a fried pork chop. I cracked a tooth which will require expensive dental work to fix. Worse still, my wife accidentally swallowed a bone fragment. After leaving, she vomited her dinner and there were patches of blood. We went immediately to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. The doctor confirmed a bone splinter had scratched her throat lining and kept her in overnight causing her to miss an important work meeting.
You do NOT expect this to happen when you eat out!! I spoke with their duty manager, Kelvin Lai, who promised me he would call me back after talking with the chef and owners. It's nearly 2 weeks and still no apology or response from the Fat Duck Den. Rubbish!!!!
