I love this place because all of its dumpling skins are actually handmade and not store~bought. As soon as I discovered this place, I knew I've found an alternative to making dumplings at home. My biggest petpeeve with dumpling restaurants is that they very often imuse the same soggy, thin and machine~made frozen dumpling skin that just makes the dumplings seem bland and soulless. Nothing can compare with the slightly chewy, thick, doughy taste of handmade dumpling skin, and this place gets it r
I also love the braised Shang Dong cabbage with vinegar sauce and the stir fried lamb with Chinese onion over a plate of rice...super delicious and as much like home cooking as you can find in HK these days.
