Comprehensive wine list but we BYO for $300 corkage.
Buy-1-get-1 Promotion for the $888 tasting menu.
Here’s what we had.
-Smacked Cucumber & Woodear Salad-refreshing tangy starter.
-Deep fried Prawns encased in a crispy and flavorful sesame crust- quite a Big piece.
-Vegetable Spring Roll- with a golden and Crispy exterior.
Succulent and crispy Aromatic Duck meat wrapped in a fluffy bun; flavors enhanced by the accompanying condiments.
Steamed Scallop with Vermicelli. Server made an effort to spoon all the soy sauce onto mine: resulting in a taste too salty for my liking.
Diced M5+ Angus Beef, tender and juicy with Black Garlic and pepper etc adding a unique depth of flavor.
Black Atlantic Cod grilled to perfection, resulting in a delicate and flaky texture. The red miso glaze added a rich and savory note, complementing the natural sweetness of the fish.
Braised Melon with Cherry Tomatoes; a combination that I didn’t really appreciate.
The Conpoy & Egg White Fried Rice: each grain was separate and packed with flavor; a satisfying dish impressive with its simplicity and execution.
Dessert: ice Cream Mochi with strawberries and blackberries.
Fortune cookies. Mine read “you will have many friends”- a playful conclusion to the night.
In summary: an evening reminiscent to the good times in London Chinatown.
