It was a Tuesday night around 20:30, I was able to be seated immediately.

I was greeted by a friendly waitress who spoke very good English. After asking her what she recommended for appetizers(she recommended the mixed sampler) I went with the pork and chicken skewers as they were sold out of the shrimp cakes(what I truly wanted). I also ordered the angus beef boat noodle as it was also recommended to me.

The noodles came first about 4 minutes after ordering and then the skewers were another minute or two behind.

What I really enjoyed was the amount of sauces you’re given to “doctor” up your dish the way you like. You have the option of: sugar, dry crushed chili’s, chili oil, a spicy sour sauce, fish sauce, and white vinegar.

Pork and chicken skewer: The chicken and pork were cooked perfectly! Not overdone which I’ve had oh so many times with Skewers. The dipping sauce was very nice, mild peanut flavor, spice, garlic, and loaded with herbs. Solid dish.

Angus beef boat noodles: This is one of the top beef broths I’ve had while in Hong Kong. It was so thick it almost had the texture of a very thin Congee. The broth was slightly sweet, which was perfect for me and the beef flavor was extremely strong, with a medium saltiness. The yellow noodles were cooked perfectly. The angus comes out rare and is fresh and beautiful, you get the brisket which is fall apart tender, the beef balls are flavorful and have a nice chew. Not to mention you get tons of garlic, and other Thai ingredients loaded into this soup noodle dish.

The waitress was extremely nice and spoke English very well. I still feel like for a noodle it was a little expensive and I was really disappointed that they were out of shrimp cakes.

Overall: 9.0/10
