The name of this place is about the HK-style “trolly noodles” (pick your own topping noodles) but nehhhh, the scrambled eggs rice is the ONLY thing you should be ordering here. More specifically, the pork chop version.Shrimp version was like all cha chan tang’s, crunchy but tasteless. BBQ pork was normal. Pork chop, however, was tender, juicy and nicely marinated. The eggs were runny enough but not snorty raw like. The eggs themselves had enough taste so the green onion oil soy sauce was not needed. This place definitely satisfy my occasional craving on scrambled eggs rice. The kitchen rolled out trays and trays of rice like a factory.
We ordered the trolly noodles toppings (fishballs, pig skin and turnips) but they were TOO salty. The restaurant poured on extra soy sauce for some reason...
I might take the heart attack challenge on my next visit - the pineapple bun with a block of cold butter and scrambled eggs ~~~
