Getting dinner takeaway is easier these days with online dining platform and online dining platform . But Shanghai Garden is not on either of these platforms (guess because of the crazily high commission D and F is charging! Can you believe it is 30-35% of retail price? How can they still charge users for delivery free after such a deep cut at merchant side!? Anyways...) As shown in the photos, ordered my all time fav pork belly (this restaurant has hands down the best pork belly in town!), a vege dish with a cute name (毛毛菜), and a shanghai style noodles (蔥油拌麵). Pork belly is well prepared: cut into very thin pieces which nicely absorb preserved vege juice. Comes with little Chinese style steamed bread rolls. Good combination of carbs, vege and protein. This one single dish can totally fill up a hungry stomach
The Vege dish was decent with very fresh materials.
I was disappointed by the shanghai style noodles, as the noodles were too thick and not much flavour... will avoid it next time.
Overall a good takeaway simple meal, worth a try.
