這些天，體力不停的在消耗，這天趁著在港島走動時，來到了陌生的鰂魚涌，找到了「壹碗麵」這家小店。店處濱海街中，不太起眼，但門面卻與周遭的環境甚不同，磚牆設計給人一個很原始的感覺。店裡位置不太多，店員很有禮，安排我們住到最入的位置，便勤快的送上餐牌，也作了一點介紹。Went to HK Island to take a walk and came to Quarry Bay, an unknown area to me, and found Mian on Ban Hoi Street. 店家著名的撈麵，當然要一試。與同行的友人點了兩款醬油撈麵 – 醬油蝴蝶腩撈QQ麵，醬油豬臉頰撈粗麵。蝴蝶腩爽口味濃，非常入味，而QQ麵掛汁力不錯，吸汁力亦強，食了兩口已覺得越來越入味，絕對值得推介。Shop name “Mian” means noodles, so it is a must to try the noodles here. We ordered to soy sauce noodles, one with butterfly belly and QQ noodles, and one with pig cheek with extra thick noodles. The butterfly belly tasted so rich and was quite crunchy. The QQ noodles matched very well with the sauce and absorbed the sauce. It got richer and richer when you ate. Highly recommend.

The pig cheek somehow was so soft that it melted quickly in the mouth. A different texture from the butterfly belly. The thick noodles was quite chewy than QQ noodles.

For the small dishes, I tried to order the seaweed with sesame sauce but it was out of stock. Then we ordered the boiled vegetables and deep-fried pong pong chicken wings. Crispy and delicious. Quite salty that it would be a good match with beer.

The fig and papaya cold drink was a very suitable drink for summer and autumn. Refreshing and calmed you down.
