After reading the recommendations on OpenRice I decided to pay a visit to this very old-style shop! Had one each of the 糯米糍: sesame, peanuts, red bean paste. ($3.5 each only!)The glutinous rice coating was thin and chewy Amount of fillings was generous - I personally like the red bean one the best, it is smooth and not too sweet Peanuts and sesame were good - they give a different texture as to the smooth red bean. But the coating was a lil bit too thick, and the fillings were not juicy - though the amount was again really generous!
Would definitely try the turnip cake and dumplings next time!
