Had great expectations and was really looking forward to the visit; heard a lot about the beer and the "British Style" menu. Beer was good - ordered "Wallower" and Cornish Cider for my friend. So far so good....decided to try the menu and ordered one Grilled Premium Cod fillet with salad, and one Breaded Cod sandwich with fries.....fries were hot and salad was fresh, but things went south after that - the portion size was ridiculously small, unfortunately the grilled premium cod fillet was very oily - not sure if it was dressing but surprised that a grilled fillet was so oily. The piece of fish was truly tiny, completely covered by two slices of lemon and very thin!! My breaded cod sandwich was cold - not even enough heat from the food to warm up, let alone melt, the cheese topping, and again the portion was kid's size. Overall then a big disappointment with the food which was a shame as the place looks nice and the beer was good .
